EPFO members can check EPF booklet, PF balance at home.
Members of the Employee Provident Fund (EPFO) can consult the balance of EPF accounts at home. PF members can do this by texting and giving missed calls.
The EPF balance can also be viewed online via the EPFO website and the UMANG app.
SMS PF BALANCE CHECK
PF members should text “EPFOHO UAN LAN” from a registered mobile number to 7738299899.
LAN is the first three characters of the preferred language i.e. HIN for Hindi, TAM for Tamil.
PF BALANCE CHECK NUMBER
EPF members can give a ‘missed call’ to 011-22901406 from the registered mobile number.
ETH NOTEBOOK
PF members can visit the ‘EPF Passbook Portal’ – https://passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/Login
Login using the UAN and password.
Then you need to “Download/View Booklet”.
UMANG APP
You can check the EPF balance on the UMANG app.
Open the app and you need to go to EPFO.
PF members should click on “Employee Centric Services” and select “View Passbook”.
